Today our 8th Grade class officers delivered the money to the M.O.R. E Center that Riley School raised during Angel Week.
At last nights school board meeting, the Riley school board recognized the students who "exceeded" on the IAR. For the entire state of Illinois only 6.6% of students exceeded in ELA and 4.6% in math. Riley had 9 students exceed in ELA and 15 exceed in math. Congratulations to those students!!
The Riley School Coat Drive will run until Dec. 13th. Coats can be dropped off in the main lobby at Riley School.

Marengo High School will be hosting the Veterans Day program in the high school gymnasium. Students and staff from Locust Elementary, Marengo Middle School, Grant Intermediate, Riley School, Zion Lutheran, and Marengo High School will be participating in the program. We invite all Veterans and community members to attend.

This year we grew our own pumpkins for the Pumpkin Run. Today, the students of Riley School got to go out into the field and help pick the pumpkins for Friday's run!
Our 8th Grade Volleyball team traveled to Genoa-Kingston High School today for the MNC Tournament. They defeated Prairie Grove in the Semi-Finals and faced off against Genoa in the Championship Game. Our Vikings won game one 27-25, lost game two 25-23 and the took a back and forth nail-biting game three to the very end, falling 27-25 for Second Place.
After an undefeated 9-0 regular season and the closest championship game possible, this groups of ladies will be remembered for years to come.
Huge Shout-Out to our 7th and 8th grade players, coaches, score keepers, and Mrs. Felde for driving the teams to their games and being their biggest fan.
Our 8th grade girls volleyball team advances to the MidNorthern Conference Tournament Finals with a win over Prairie Grove! Good luck ladies! Finish Strong!
