We miss our students greatly, as a classroom is like a family. We laugh and learn together, we play and have disagreements. We take a journey for nine months and often spend more waking hours with our RILEY classmates than we do our at-home families. We miss you all and want to stay connected as much as we can. Governor Pritzker has announced he will be signing a proclamation extending the emergency shelter-in-place order, which also would extend the school closure until the end of April. We will continue as we move forward with our Remote Learning Plan until that time.

Late this afternoon, Governor Pritzger issued a directive stating all schools in Illinois will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17th. Students will be in school on Monday the 16th in order to help facilitate the implementation of an E-Learning protocol.
